Food:
Billycan camping is self-catering; however on a Friday night we cook up a camp stew followed by toasted marshmallows over the campfire with a cup of hot chocolate… perfect! For the rest of your stay you will be cooking on your own personal BBQ provided by us. If you are feeling particularly adventurous, you can book a slot on the ‘hot box’ and try your hand at creating a sumptuous feast. We also provide a Saturday breakfast hamper which will include fresh coffee, local organic eggs, bacon from the butchers and bread from the local baker.

Washing Up:
Washing up station is at you disposal.

Lighting:
Lighting at Billycan Camping is ‘natural’; put another way there is no electricity! Each tent has a lantern outside and pathways are illuminated with tea lights.

Billycan Loos & Eco Shower:
Billycan Camping Loos and eco shower room are housed in a separate low impact building with Solar Lighting.
Instructions are provided for heating water for your shower, as we have no electricity on site a little forward planning is needed.

First Time Campers:
Warm clothing is essential even though it might be hot in the day camping can get cold at night so please bring suitabley warm bedding and blankets…… you can never have enough.

Wood & Charcoal:
You will be provided with a bag of logs on arrival and Charcoal is available to buy on site.
